Welcome to Dea dei Mari s.r.l.<\/strong>
The following Terms and Conditions govern the charter of our sailboats. Please read them carefully before making a booking.<\/p>\n

1. Subject of the contract<\/h2>\n

The charter of the boats is managed by Dea dei Mari s.r.l.<\/strong> (hereinafter the \u201cLessor\u201d) and is intended exclusively for tourist and recreational purposes.
The client (hereinafter the \u201cCharterer\u201d) fully accepts these Terms and Conditions at the time of booking.<\/p>\n

2. Booking and payment<\/h2>\n
    \n
  • The booking is valid only after payment of a 50% deposit<\/strong> of the total price.<\/li>\n
  • The balance<\/strong> must be paid at least 30 days before<\/strong> the boarding date.<\/li>\n
  • If payment is not made within the deadlines, the booking will be automatically cancelled<\/strong> and the deposit will not be refunded.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    3. Security deposit<\/h2>\n

    At boarding, the Charterer must pay a security deposit of \u20ac 2,500.00 (two thousand five hundred)<\/strong> to cover any damage.
    The deposit will be refunded in full<\/strong> at the end of the charter, after inspection of the boat and provided there is no damage or missing equipment.<\/p>\n

    4. Use of the boat<\/h2>\n
      \n
    • The boat must be used only for tourist and recreational purposes<\/strong>, in compliance with the applicable laws and nautical regulations.<\/li>\n
    • It is forbidden to sub-charter<\/strong> the boat unless otherwise agreed, or to take undeclared persons on board.<\/li>\n
    • The Charterer is responsible for the safety of the crew<\/strong> and for the proper handling of the boat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      5. Delivery and return<\/h2>\n
        \n
      • The boat will be delivered in perfect seaworthy condition<\/strong>, with full tanks and safety equipment in compliance with regulations.<\/li>\n
      • It must be returned to the same departure base<\/strong>, on the agreed date and time, with full tanks and in the same condition in which it was received.<\/li>\n
      • In case of a delay in return exceeding 4 hours<\/strong>, an extra day of charter<\/strong> may be charged.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        6. Weather conditions<\/h2>\n

        Adverse weather conditions do not entitle the Charterer to refunds<\/strong>, unless otherwise decided by the Lessor in exceptional cases.<\/p>\n

        7. Withdrawal and cancellation<\/h2>\n
          \n
        • Up to 60 days before departure<\/strong>: refund of 70%<\/strong> of the amount paid.<\/li>\n
        • Between 59 and 30 days<\/strong>: refund of 50%<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        • Less than 30 days<\/strong>: no refund.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          The Lessor may cancel the charter for reasons of force majeure<\/strong>, with a full refund of the sums paid.<\/p>\n

          8. Insurance<\/h2>\n

          All boats are covered by third-party liability and hull insurance<\/strong>, with an excess payable by the Charterer<\/strong>.
          Any damage not covered by the policy will be borne entirely by the Charterer.<\/p>\n

          9. Liability<\/h2>\n

          Dea dei Mari s.r.l.<\/strong> is not liable for damage to persons or property occurring during the charter, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
          The Charterer is responsible for any fines, violations or damage<\/strong> caused during the period of use of the boat.<\/p>\n

          10. Place of jurisdiction<\/h2>\n

          For any dispute concerning the interpretation or performance of this contract, the Court of La Spezia (Italy)<\/strong> shall have exclusive jurisdiction.<\/p>\n

          This translation is provided for convenience; in case of discrepancy, the Italian version prevails.<\/em><\/p>\n
